Treasure was and still is my best friend. During her 11 years, I can think of 5 days or less when we didn't sleep in the same room. Treas went every where with me and spent many hours in my vehicle waiting for my return. She was a big girl; weighing 85 lbs in her prime. People often mistook her as a male dog. Treasure was the first dog I ever trained for obedience showing. It took a while to get her UD, but we both stuck with it. If anyone wanted to find me, all they had to do was look at Treasure. She watched me. Treas got used to my taking photos of her and all the training helped. A photo was on a local pet program. Her picture in a GSD calendar! Treasure was self-confident. She could handle many activities/situations. She is a memorable dog. To this day, dog and non-dog people mention her, by name, to me. Treasure did have some special human friends, but at the end, it was her and me.
